Last night, in a scrappy road matchup, the Maple Valley girls defeated Wyoming Godfrey-Lee 23-18. Maple Valley was led by Kyla VanAlstine with 10 points, followed by Emma Pierce with 4, Ali Mater and Payton Morawski both had 3, and Mariah VanDorp had 2 and spearheaded a strong defensive effort in the second half. Autumn Leo only had 1 point, but it was big FT late in the game to push the lead to 5.
